Voices of Gratitude: Volunteer Tameka Lee Loves Working With Children
As the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children celebrates our 15th anniversary, we look back with pride and gratitude for all we have accomplished. Our impact has become much larger than we first imagined.
We have been, and continue to be, inspired by your stories, challenges, and triumphs, and it is it is with gratitude that we introduce our 2014 Impact Report: Voices of Gratitude to share your stories that have touched the hearts of so many.
Like Tameka’s story.
Tameka Lee is a Bright Horizons Education Coordinator and Bright Space volunteer in Seattle. She has been a Bright Space Volunteer coordinator for two years. Tameka’s leadership provides an opportunity for teams to volunteer with the children in the Bright Space on an ongoing basis.
“I just love working with the children and being able to give them something that they really don’t get all the time,” says Tameka.
She said the things Bright Horizons does as an organization for children and families touched her heart, and she immediately wanted to be involved. You can see a great video clip of Tameka on p. 16 of the 2014 Impact Report.
Thanks to all of you – like Tameka – who have supported, volunteered, and partnered with us. Watch for more stories in the coming months!
