Teasa Ray-Rawlings, Lead Teacher, Receives Gleason Grant

Please join us in congratulating Teasa Ray-Rawlings, Lead Teacher at Bright Horizons at Inter-American Dev. Bank, for being honored with a Gleason Grant. Reaching the World Community Development Inc will be receiving a check for $250 in her name.

Teasa assists in distributing food to homeless and low-income families, domestic violence survivors, and to house-fire victims in need of food on every 4th Saturday of the month. At a minimum this packing of nutritional food includes, meat, fresh and canned vegetables, canned fruit, beans (dry and canned), cereal, oatmeal, flour, spices, juice, canned tuna, peanut butter, jelly, whole grain pasta, and low-sodium pasta sauce. In addition, participants receive hygiene items, such as soap, tooth paste, tooth brush, and deodorant.

The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children provides grants to nonprofit organizations where our employees volunteer to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
