Teacher Lisa Haass Receives Gleason Grant for Masindi Education Foundation

May 5, 2014

Please join us in congratulating Elisabeth (Lisa) Haass, Infant Teacher at Little Acorns in Fort Collins, CO, for being honored with a Gleason Grant.  Masindi Education Foundation will receive a check for $500 in her name.

Lisa will be helping out with chores (cooking, cleaning, etc.) around the school and boarding school, as well as teaching on occasion when help is needed.  She will also help plan field trips and hopes to bring an uplifting spirit to these children who live in poverty.  Lisa says that they might even get a chance to build a new media library for the children.

Our special thanks to Diane Trister Dodge, Founder of Teaching Strategies, a member of the Bright Horizons Education Advisory Board and a friend of the Foundation. Her generous donation in honor of retired Foundation President, Dave Gleason, supports the Gleason Grant Program.
