Teacher Debbie Payne Receives Gleason Grant to Help People Who Have Lost a Child

December 4, 2013

Please join us in congratulating Debbie Payne, Infant/Toddler Teacher at Vita Kids Learning Center, for being honored with a Gleason Grant.  Always In Our Hearts, Inc. will receive a check for $250 in her name.

Debbie organizes and plans this annual run/walk for people who have lost a child.  They send out registration forms, order and pass out t-shirts for participants, and have a memory ceremony for all of the children who passed.  All proceeds from the event go to Camp Hope at Stevens Point and to Compassionate Friends–Waukesha Chapter and Debbie also handles the financial part, sending money to both of these organizations.

Our special thanks to Diane Trister Dodge, Founder of Teaching Strategies, a member of the Bright Horizons Education Advisory Board and a friend of the Foundation. Her generous donation in honor of retired Foundation President, Dave Gleason, supports the Gleason Grant Program.
