Tabor and Maze Receive Gleason Grants
Annette Tabor, Teacher at Discovery Preschool – Coral Springs, was honored with a Gleason Grant. Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD) will be receiving a check for $250 in her name. Annette has been a volunteer coordinator of CHADD of North Broward in Coral Springs, FL for 15 years, volunteering at least 250 hours per year. She plans and leads two meetings each month with professional speakers such as doctors and educators.
Jamiel Maze, Education Coordinator at JPMC at Highland Oaks, was honored with a Gleason Grant. The Girl Scouts of West Central Florida – Troop 32503 will be receiving a check for $250 in her name. Jamiel is responsible for leading the troop. She works with five and six year olds, planning and executing ways to learn about leadership and serving their community.
