Sarah Bloom, Preschool Teacher, Receives Gleason Grant

February 20, 2013

Please join us in congratulating Sarah Bloom, Preschool Teacher at University Village, for being honored with a Gleason Grant.

Mary’s Place, a day care center for homeless women and children, will be receiving a check for $250 in her name. Sarah serves as an overnight volunteer at Julia’s Place, part of Mary’s Place that is an emergency night shelter for parents and their children.  Sarah is responsible for everything going on in the shelter that night, helping guests clean up and ensuring that they are safe and follow the rules.

The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children provides grants to nonprofit organizations where our employees volunteer to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
