Providence Bright Space Receives Makeover

August 29, 2018

We are excited to announce that we recently completed a Bright Space Makeover at the Crossroads homeless shelter in Providence, RI. The makeover was sponsored by Landscape Structures Inc., a Bright Horizons playground vendor.

There has been a Bright Space at Crossroads since 2002 and thanks to Landscape Structure’s generosity, we were able to update equipment, toys, and furniture and refresh the design. The space is a place for young children, ages infant through 10, and includes a dramatic play area, reading corner, games and toys, as well as an area for infants and nursing mothers.

A very special thank you goes out to Cheri Blythe, Center Director at Bright Horizons at Rhode Island Hospital, and Regional Manager Jennifer Nelson for leading the project; Regional Property Manager Jacqueline Miller for her support; and the center staff and families at Bright Horizons at Rhode Island Hospital.
