Not Just Playing Around
Corn Hole Tournament Raises $750
What’s better than friends getting together to play corn hole on the weekend? Getting your friends together to play corn hole while raising money for a great cause!
That’s what Sheri Nabb, assistant director at the Bright Horizons at Columbus Circle in New York did. She invited a bunch of people to her parents’ house in New Jersey for a corn hole tournament and asked each team to make a donation to the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children.
The 12 teams who participated raised $750 for the Foundation.
“My friends loved knowing that their money was going to such a great cause,” says Sheri. “We plan to make this an annual event at my parent’s house in New Jersey, so I am sure next year will be an even bigger success!”
