New Bright Space Opens in Novato, CA

August 21, 2019

Welcome to our new Bright Space, the “Skippy” Phyllis Wirth Bright Space at Homeward Bounds’ Oma Village, in Novato, CA. Oma Village provides a stable housing environment, case management, counseling, and community resources for families who are working to overcome homelessness. This Bright Spaces is dedicated to “Skippy,” a Marin Day Schools/Bright Horizons legend who retired at age 87, and recently passed away.

Special thanks to Barbara Levinson, Education and Curriculum, and Division 16 Regional Managers Katharine Troia and Sandra Hilliard for overseeing the creation of this Bright Space. We also thank the employees and families at Bright Horizons at Mill Valley, MDS-Hillside, MDS-Old Mill, MDS-Park School, and Bright Horizons at Marin Commons for raising the necessary funds. This is our second Bright Space partnering with Homeward Bound.
