New Bright Space® Opens in Haverhill, MA
We are honored to announce the opening of a special Bright Space in Haverhill, MA for Emmaus Family Shelter. Emmaus House provides services to homeless adults and families, and the Bright Space is part of their Emmaus Explorers program designed for the school-age children residing there. Emmaus Explorers make learning fun for these youth by presenting educational topics through interactive games, crafts, and activities.
This project was funded by our partner, kettlebells4kids, and Foundation friend Shiloh Ellis. The Bright Spaces was Shiloh’s Eagle Scout project, and his second Bright Space with us. As part of the project, Shiloh installed new storage and a movie projector at the shelter. We hope that local Bright Horizons centers and employees will continue to support the Bright Space through volunteering and Brightening Lives Activities.
