New Bright Space® Opens in Boulder, CO
We are honored to announce the opening of a very special Bright Space in memory of Bright Horizons employee Lea Hamel, who died in an apartment fire last year while trying to save others. Lea volunteered at Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy in Boulder, and this Bright Space is a sensory path for the riders.
Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy works with children and adults with a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities, providing therapy and recreational opportunities that involve interaction with horses.
Special thanks to the employees at the Broomfield Office who raised funds for the Bright Space through FUNdraisers and held two work days to create the Bright Space. The team took a plain field full of weeds, rocks, and a round pin, and transformed it into a colorful path that the children, horses, and occupational therapists will be able to enjoy.
