Making a Difference: Hours of Fun Collected in Game Drive
“Playing games has always been something I have done with family and friends. I love the laughter and enjoy the chatter that surrounds any game playing activity,” says Regional Manager Patty Donahue. “Bringing this kind of activity into a Bright Space normalizes things. I can picture the kids hanging out this summer enjoying the laughs, the connections, and the normalizing chatter of game playing here.”
Patty and other Regional Managers from Division 8 recently gathered at the Bright Horizons Watertown Office to host a game drive for the Willis Family Shelter in Massachusetts . They also played some fun and intense Bingo together.
“Participating in volunteering is my own little way of making a difference in the lives of others,” says Regional Manager Jayne Bradley. “It reminds me of all I have to be thankful for in my own life.”
Brightening Lives Activities are a new resource for volunteering from the Foundation. They are an exciting new way to support our Bright Space program and other organizations in your community. Bright Horizons employees, their families, center families, customers, clients, and community partners can come together to celebrate each other and make a difference.
