Center Connects Partners to Benefit Children

Little Girl from NorthridgeEveryone likes a win-win situation. That’s why Northridge Hospital Children’s Center in California recently connected two of its partners to benefit children. It was a win-win-win!

Northridge’s Adopt A Bright Space partner is Miriam’s House Bright Space. They also have an ongoing relationship with the students at the University of LaVerne’s Child Development Program.

Director Renee Tomcsi and her team connected the LaVerne students with Miriam’s House for a service learning project that included donations new or gently used clothes and toys. The center also hosted a bake sale that raised just under $550 for the Bright Space. The students from LaVerne recently presented a money order and more than 15 large donation bags of new or gently used toys and clothes to Miriam’s house.
