Brooke Raymond Receives Gleason Grant

Please join us in congratulating Brooke Elizabeth Raymond, Three Year Olds Teacher at Bright Horizons at East Fort Collins, for being honored with a Gleason Grant.  The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be receiving a check for $250 in her name.

Brooke’s volunteer efforts include everything from assisting with, speaking at, and participating in MS Walks, Bikes, and other fundraising events.  In fact, she personally raised $15,650 in the Fort Collins 2012 Colorado Walk MS, putting her team “Brooke’s Believers” in the Top 100 teams nationally and in the top 5 for their chapter with a total raised of $25,505.

Just a few and by no means all of Brooke’s other volunteer efforts include being a Practical Support Volunteer by providing monthly in-home support services for a lady confined to a motorized wheel chair because of her MS, being an Online Peer Support Volunteer by helping others living with MS by offering them support through email, soliciting donations for a silent auction at their MS Dinner of Champions, and serving on the 2012 Walk MS Planning Committee.

The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children provides grants to nonprofit organizations where our employees volunteer to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
