Amy Shamburg, Workforce Management Analyst, Receives Gleason Grant
Please join us in congratulating Amy Shamburg, Workforce Management Analyst, for being honored with a Gleason Grant. CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties will receive a check for $250 in her name.
Amy serves as a CASA Child Advocate, investigating cases of, and advocating for, sexually, emotionally, and physically abused and neglected children who are involved in the court system through no fault of their own. She serves as an additional set of eyes and ears for professionals on the case who generally have many, many cases. Her role allows for a more personal level of support for the children and assists the court in making the best possible decision. Sometimes that involves re-unification with the parent and sometimes the termination of parental rights. Amy says it is not always easy, but the knowledge that she is helping to create a better life for these children keeps her going.
The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children provides grants to nonprofit organizations where our employees volunteer to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
